What’s so good about a homemade pizza – you can make the crust the way you want it and top it with all your personal toppings. Above all, you know what goes in.
We used the bread machine to make the dough which took care of kneading and rising the flour – you should be able to do this without bread machine as well.
We found the recipe for crust at allrecipes.com and made few changes to the ingredients based on the user reviews.
This recipe makes 2 – 14″ thin crusts.
Ingredients:

* 3/4 cup water
* 1 tablespoon olive oil
* 1/2 teaspoon salt
* 1 tablespoon white sugar
* 1 tablespoon dry milk powder
* 2 teaspoon vital wheat gluten
* 2 1/4 cups bread flour
* 1 teaspoon active dry yeast
* 1 teaspoon oregano
Follow your bread machine’ instructions and place the above ingredients in the bread machine pan and select the dough cycle – in our bread machine it took about 1:30 minutes to knead/rise the dough.
After the kneading is done, take out the dough, divide into 2 portions, roll into 2 balls and let rest on the counter for a few minutes covered. We dusted the working board with dry flour to prevent the dough from sticking.

Use a rolling pin to roll out the dough into 2 circles.

Cover and rest it for few minutes.
While the dough is resting preheat the over for 400 F and prepare your favorite topping.

You can roll it again to 12″ or 14″ based on the crust you prefer. Once you have rolled out the dough you can transfer it to a pizza pan and let it rest and rise for few more minutes.

When the resting is done, poke the rolled out pizza with a fork or a tooth pick all over and brush it with olive oil.
Poking is very important. Otherwise you will end up with a puffed pizza
Now place the pizza in the preheated oven (middle rack) for about 10 minutes or until when the crust is light brown. Then take out and continue with the sauce and toppings.

Then put the pizza back in the oven and bake it for about 15 minutes or until when the cheese is melted.
