The other day I had mentioned about DTV Converter box coupon program in my blog post Here today, gone tomorrow.
Here is a quick recap of the coupon program
Starting January 1, 2008, all U.S. households will be eligible to request up to two coupons, worth $40 each, to be used toward the purchase of up to two, digital-to-analog converter boxes.
Now you can apply for coupons at https://www.dtv2009.gov/ApplyCoupon.aspx
Applying for the coupon was a simple process and took me a couple of minutes to fill in the coupon form.
Upon completion of the registration for coupon, I saw the following message.
TV converter boxes are not expected to be available in retail stores until late February or early March. You will receive your Coupon(s) then. The Coupon will expire within 90 days from the date it is issued.

I found an excellent site; it had all the info about the Digital Transition and requesting the $40 coupon. I ordered my 2 coupons from it. http://www.digitalconverterbox.org
Thanks for the link and info.
You can order the Digital to Analog Converter Box using the $40 coupon on the web at CompuPartsAndMore.com for $21.99 with free shipping. They sell the Tivax STB-T9 Converter.

Nice site, Looking forward to more.
I have heard that you can get a converter box for about $50 at Wal-Mart. This means that the price would be reduced to around $10 after the coupon… What a deal!!!!!!!!
I have just applied for the coupon. Thanks Sasi
