Ah its that time of the year again – when you are inundated with catalogs on mail from seed/plant/bulb companies. Over the past few years I regularly receive catalogs from Brecks, Michigan Bulbs, Bluestone Perennials, Springhill, and Territorial seed.
Based on my personal experience, I like ordering from Bluestone Perennial for perennial plants and Territorial Seed for vegetable seeds and garlic bulbs. Both these companies have very good customer service and have extensive catalogs (both online and one on mail). I remember ordering butterfly bushes, tiger lily bulbs, and Achillea from bluestone perennial and to this day these plants come year after year. I always order garlic bulbs from territorial seed and they have a wide variety of garlic to choose from besides other veggies/fruit seeds and live plants. I am not impressed with Brecks, yeah definitely their flowering bulbs are much bigger than what you find at local stores, but I haven’t seen any difference in abundance/size of their flowers – may be I’m doing something wrong
Then always you could check on garden vendors and their reviews at Dave’s garden watchdog page before ordering from any garden/catalog vendors
