Hi I live in melbourne and we are having winters here. I just noticed that my curry leaf plant’s leaves have turned dark brown. What to do? also i have berries on my plant which are black what to do with them?

Not good, all the leafs fell off. When I cut of alittle of the branch I can still smell the flavor of curry leave, but the leaves will not grow? What to do????

I live in the chicago area where the winter time is really harsh and I have to keep my curry leaf plant inside. By late winter, my plants are infested with scales. Is there anything I can do to prevent scales?

Need desperate help,

I have two curry leaf plant, during the winter all the leaves fell off and since then the stems are still bare. I dont know what to do.
Can someone please help.

It all depends on where you live.

Try local nursery during spring season.

Other option would be to try local Indian community events – like last fall we had people selling jasmine plants and banana tree plants during a picnic meet here in St. Louis.

Best bet would be to ask friends if they could give you a small plant – that’s how I got mine about 5 years ago from a very good friend

Hi Sasi:
I live in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada. The winters here are quite severe, but the summers are quite warm. The only way that I know that the Curry Leaf plant can grow here is in containers with ample artificial lighting.

I am looking for curry leaf plant seeds and if you could send me some when the weather is mild, i.e., in April or May I would be much obliged.

I have been following your blog for sometime now and find the info very interesting. Awsome pictures. Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

do you use the leaves in cooking? or eat or cook the berries?
i have several plants in fl. it propagates readily.
aw
