Comment on How to run eWallet on a linux PC? by steve

Installing eWallet, or Data Guardian, or any of a number of Windows programs on a Linux system using Wine is not the problem. USING eWallet on that Linux system in conjunction with an iPod *is*. Unfortunately, Bonjour won't install and so there's no way for the install of eWallet to 'see' the iPod so that you can sync.

Great post by the way - don't want that to be lost from my comment. I'm just elaborating a little bit on it and any bitterness is purely on my part because of the lack of syncing. I have a laptop on which I have XP, Kubuntu and Mint 6, and a Mac Mini on my desktop. It's proving damn near impossible to have a single catchall program for sign ons, numbers, etc that is accessible on ALL four (including the iPod now) platforms. eWallet is great for a Windows system, or for a Linux system via Wine if you just want the desktop half. I want something that allows bulk input and editing (desktop) that also sync's with the iPod.

Hi sasi,
Very nice to see your plants. I have almost similar setup as yours. I just saw your blog, and was happy to see that.
Do you have any spare curry leaf seeds ?I have been trying to get one, and no success. It will be great if you can help with me with seeds. I will bear any expenses for postage etc.

You can see the pics of my plants here.

Dear Sasi,
I was searching for information on "curry berry" and found your blog; and have just left a comment in your Recipe page. Could you please check and response. Happy to know that your curry-leaf plant is also bearing berries. Hope to hear from you.
With good wishes from Adelaide, Australia.

Dear Sasi,

Greetings from Adelaide, Australia.

Mum has a curry-leaf plant growing in her garden here, and for the last two months it has been full of berries!

I have eaten the ripe (dark purple) berries. fresh from the plant - it is sweet and I love its 'curry-leaf' flavour! I have dropped some of them into Mum's curry, and found that the seed (green in colour) soften and has a 'nutty' texture. I ate them and I found them fairly palatable. Everyone else to whom I've offered the berries (cooked or uncooked), however, have been rather apprehensive - they are afraid that these berries may be poisonous, as they have never ever heard of curry-berry in Indian curry!

Therefore, the IMPORTANT question: Are the berries safe, and are they used in Indian cooking?

If so, would you please recommend some recipes.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Regards,
Suan
